Natalie Raffaele

Natalie Raffaele is a Brooklyn based creator and writer of the ANANKE sci-fi graphic novel series with a penchant for modern science, art, and spirituality. She is also an entrepreneur and owner of the independent publishing house, Raffish Press.  Her works are designed to bridge the above three disciplines with unique visuals and engaging storytelling.

Graduating with a BA degree in filmmaking and another in history from the prestigious Macaulay Honors College, and having over a decade of experience in film production, with the last 4 years as a producer at PS260 Post Production, she applies the same work ethic and knowledge developed from her educational and professional experiences to her own creative endeavors.  Natalie is excited to debut ANANKE: The Prologue to the world, and looks forward to continuing and sharing this epic sci-fi anthology with her fans!

Yishan Li

Yishan Li is the lead illustrator and colorist of ANANKE: The Prologue. She is a professional UK/Chinese manga artist currently living in Shanghai,  and has been working with publishers such as Top Cow, DC, Darkhorse, Random house, Titan comics, Delcourt and Dargaud.

 

Her recent works include: Re-Possessed (Webtoons); Swing ( Top Cow/ Image); HELLBOY AND THE B.P.R.D.: 1956 (Dark Horse); Paradox Girl ( Top cow/ Image); Buffy the High school years (Darkhorse), Sugar ( Top Cow/ Image) and Blue Beetle (DC Comics)

Julia M. Quiceno

Julia M. Quiceno is the lead revisionist of ANANKE: The Prologue. She is a filmmaker from Colombia living in Los Angeles, who specializes primarily in editing and assistant editing, but also works as an illustrator and storyboard artist.  She obtained her BFA in Animation and Digital Arts, as well as her MFA in Film and TV Production, from the University of Southern California.  

 

Throughout her education and career, Julia has been very fortunate to meet and work alongside very talented artists and creators in the film industry. Working on a variety of projects such as games, animation, film, and graphic novels has given Julia the opportunity to grow and learn as an artist and storyteller. At the same time, she has worked and interned for multiple film companies such as Tremolo Productions, Nickelodeon Animation, Storied Media Group, and Fangoria Studios. Her goal is to create compelling stories that have the power to resonate globally and influence audiences in a positive way.
